Apple Orchard Latte (Oil-Soluble) | Fall Recipe with Dave’s Flaves
Share
From Dave: Apple Latte, the Way I Make It
Leaves underfoot. Steam curling off the cup.
That first sip—warm cinnamon, then bright, just-picked apple, finishing smooth.
No candy aftertaste. No artificial edge. Just clean orchard character that plays beautifully with dairy or barista-style plant milks.
When I designed our oil-soluble concentrates, this is exactly what I wanted them to do: ride the fat in milk for rounder aroma, fuller texture, and a finish that feels crafted—not manufactured.
What You’ll Taste
Fresh apple first. Bright, juicy top notes that open into a gentle “baked-apple” warmth.
Real fall spice. Cinnamon with a whisper of nutmeg.
Canadian backbone. A hint of maple—not too sweet, just enough to taste like home.

(Our concentrates are built for precise, low-volume dosing—adjust by a drop to dial in your house profile.)
-
Method
-
Steam your milk to ~60–65 °C.
-
Build the base: Add maple, spices, and your apple drops to the mug.
-
Add espresso and give a quick swirl.
-
Pour and finish: Add milk, then microfoam. Dust with cinnamon. Sip and enjoy.
Pro tip:
Working with ultra-lean milk? Pre-mix the drops into 1 tsp warm milk before adding. Oil-soluble disperses better this way in low-fat systems.
